A collection of Honey Bees (Apis Mallifera) which can live in collonies of over 50,000 individuals. These were made from old book pages which have been rolled up and cut to shape. 
 
The frames are handmade for each display from solid wood and glass. This particular frame has been made from Oak which has been oxidised to create the dark colouring and then oiled. It has a wire on the back so it is ready to hang from a hook in the wall.
 
In order to keep your piece looking its best, hang it away from direct sunlight and avoid areas where there is a lot of moisture such as in a bathroom.
